Volunteering
Volunteers play a significant role at the Whipple, helping out with events, audience research and taught sessions. You don’t need to have any previous experience in order to get involved with volunteering at the Whipple, although enthusiasm about the History of Science and museums and heritage is encouraged. We have an excellent team of volunteers, and hugely appreciate the time they give up to help us fulfil our aims.
Training will be provided for each role, and volunteers will be encouraged to take on new tasks when opportunities arise.
We regularly recruit Events and Outreach Volunteers as well as Audience Research Volunteers. All applications are taken via the University of Cambridge Museum's Volunteer Makers platform, here: https://ucm.volunteermakers.org.
